Who is eligible to apply for a Lend A Hand Up Fundraiser?

Either the recipient or one of their two designated champions* may apply to host a Lend A Hand Up Fundraiser. Consent of the recipient or a spouse/parent/legal guardian is required prior to approval and public launch of a fundraiser on their behalf. 

 

Lend A Hand Up criteria is based on the recipient’s residency** and financial hardship due to a health issue, trauma, or recent death of a family member.

 

*Champions committed to promoting the fundraiser must be individuals who do not live in the same household as the recipient.

 

**Residency is based on the home address of the recipient, child or adult, experiencing a health issue, trauma, or death.  Lend A Hand Up is currently hosting fundraisers for recipients living in the North Dakota Counties of Cass, Steele, Traill and Grand Forks; and in the Minnesota Counties of Clay, Becker, Otter Tail, Norman, Polk, Pennington, and Red Lake.
